9 Days.. 16 days..
Rack your brains, what do those numbers stand for?
Well, now it's the 22nd of October 2005. In 9 days time it would be 31st October 2005. Now you're probably thinking: Oh dear, mother tongue exam. But no, it's something more important than the Cambridge Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Exams (GCE "O" Level Exams).
Yes, it is none other than
My Birthday.(Not forgetting Mei Mei, but this is MY blog).
Uh huh, yes, I am that narcissistic, and you can't do anything about it, because I am more important than the O levels itself.
(Disclaimer: If you are an idiot, and you think that what I am saying is true, then I feel sorry for you, for perhaps you do not understand and grasp the concept of sarcasm, or maybe you just have a cucumber so far up your ass that you do not recognize a joke. Btw, give me presents ;))
I went to play pool with Jian Ming today, for around two hours, meh, nothing much, I tried out some new tactics that I learnt over the net and through Virtual Pool 3, my draw shots are getting better, my follow and english shots are up to par, but I'm not good enough to be consistent.
Talking about pool, I'm thinking of getting the Predator 4K1 cue, which my brother will be sponsoring half of the cost thanks to his new-found job, that would mean taking my pool game to a whole new level!

GCE "O" Level Science(Physics\Chemistry) Practical Exam. Oh dear..
Being a Singaporean and an fourth express-stream secondary school student or a fifth year normal academic-stream student, the time comes when you have to finally take the dreaded
CAMBRIDGE GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION ORDINARY LEVEL EXAMINATION. Although I've taken the Mid-Year mother tongue paper and passed with flying colours by my standard(And by that I mean a C6), I never really cared for it, even though I did get jittery during the exam.
Anyway, today was my first End Of Year(EOY) paper, which was the Science(Physics\Chemistry) Practical. It was fairly simple, and for my chemistry practical, I got Zinc Nitrate as my Salt T.(Anyone who wishes to express what they got may do well so in the comments). My crystallised Salt T turned yellow when hot, and back to white upon cooling. This meant that it was either: A) Zinc, B) Calcium.
The next part, SOLUTION T, I got a definite answer to Zinc as both Ammonium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide produced White PPT, and was soluble in excess.
Nitrate was fairly simple, Sodium Hydroxide to Solution T, add crumpled Aluminium foil, heat. Ammonia gas was produced, which turned damp red litmus paper blue.
Hence I conclude Salt T is Zinc Nitrate..
Heh. No pictures today, because my mobile wasn't allowed to the exam venue. ALTHOUGH I DID take a picture of the bus which took me to my impending doom.
19-10-2005, Just another day?
I didn't go to school today, yes, I went to
keng school, but hell, Wednesdays suck in school anyway, and my GCE "O" Level practical exam is tomorrow, so I wanted to concentrate on memorising practical techniques, which is hard, because my teacher is rubbish, our class has gone to the lab in what, 5 times this year?
Aaanyway, I went out today to study instead of staying home beacuse there was absolutely no power from 8AM - 5 PM. It was fine to study at home, until it started to rain, and as a result, my house was pitch black. Naturally, I could not study, as I could not see any words. *Rolls eyes*

No updates the past few days.
Well, the lack of recent updates is because that my life has been so fucking boring that nothing has been blog-worthy, so I guess I'll blog tomorrow because after 4 days, I'm going back to school.
Mmmm, that was a long hiatus.
Anyway, after a few months without blogging, I decided, on impulse, to start one up again, don't ask me why, don't ask me how.
Going ons in my life lately:
- Well I did OKAY for my prelims, getting an L1R4 of 18, was aiming for 15, but my combined Humanities pulled me down(C6)
- Total break down of my scores: English A2, Maths B3, Literature B3, Science B4, Combined Humanities C6.
- GCE "O" Levels coming up in 16+7 = 23 days.
- Birthday coming up in 16 days.
Pretty uneventful life eh?
Anyway, in my hiatus, I've gotten my Digital Camera-cum-mobile phone. A Panasonic VS2, it's 1.3 megapixel glory + 16 million colour TFT screen.
Yep, that's my phone, weighing at 98grams and being very slim, it's one of the coolest phones you can get for $498(NO plan), and I was so happy I bought it over the K750i, at a whopping $800
As for picture quality, I'll let you judge it yourself?
